Get into the swing of things... with Sutcliffe Play’s new seat. Over 2 years in development, the seat has been designed as a far safer & more durable replacement for the use of traditional truck tyres. Our new seat has been designed using our expertise of developing impact absorbing seats with a unique cellular edge. It has an extremely low impact rating that lowers the chance of injury, but is still tough and resilient.

Inclusive Seat

Inclusive Seat. To swing on a normal flat seat requires balance, a strong grip and good co-ordination. The inclusive seat allows children who don't have those abilities to also enjoy the sensation of swinging. The inclusive seat is supplied with chains fixed in an upright position to suit any 2.4 m (8ft) swing frame that complies with EN1176 Part 2. It can be hung in the same way as other flat or cradle seats. The seat features our patented shock absorbing front section.

Bumper Seat black & U bolts for 8 mm chains. NEWLY IMPROVED. A seat with rounded edges, ergonomically designed to help children learn to swing. Its single point suspension system means neither branch chains nor eye bolts are required, so reducing chain costs. Chains are available in 1.8 m, 2.4 m and 3 m lengths. Bumper seats can be dog resistant by the addition of citronella opil to the rubber compound during manufacture for a small additional cost per seat. This stops dogs chewing the seats. Bumper seats can be supplied in different colours.

Pendulum Seat

This pendulum seat, ideal for use on cable rides has a steel insert encased in rubber. Will fit either a 6 mm or 8 mm chain.

Pod Seat for 8 mm chains

Pod Seat for 8 mm chains. The Pod Seat hugs a child (like peas in a pod) and uses their body weight to pull it around them. Itis very easy to get in and out of. Significantly lighter than other cradle seats, any impact with a child will be less severe. When swinging, the leading edge is flexible and has excellent absorbing properties. The Pod Seat's flexibility and lightness make it hard to damage, even when smashed against swing uprights. It also has a stainless steel, rustproof top ring and hard wearing bushes. With a Peak G of just 25, it is probably the safest swing seat on the market.
